CESI Child Poverty Toolkit
The Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion have produced a Child Poverty Toolkit. It is an up-to-date and interactive resource that uses a combination of charts, tables and text to describe and analyse child poverty. The Toolkit is a dynamic, easy to use spreadsheet.
To find out how your local authority area is doing in terms of child poverty, select your location from the contents page and navigate through the available indicators to see the data. at a local level, and how it has changed in recent years.
The Toolkit can also produce reports or PowerPoint presentations that summarise child poverty in your local authority area. You may wish to circulate these amongst colleagues or adapt them for your own presentations. These free, take-away resources are invaluable to understanding the local child poverty situation and communicating it to others.
You can download the tool here. To get tailored reports or powerpoints email laura.gardiner@cesi.org.uk, stating which local authority you are interested in and whether you would like a report, presentation or both.
