European Structural Funds: Speed Networking Event (August 2010) - E
This event brought together those submitting an ESF bid under Priority 5. It provided an opportunity for National bidders to share with CPPs the background and initial content of their bids, timescales and costs; and geographical areas of delivery. A Common Approach to Assessment: Meeting the employability needs of our clients (September 2009) - E
Delivered to showcase the work of the National Delivery Groups’ Common Assessment Sub Group, the aim of this event was to increase awareness of the benefits of improved assessment within employability services. The event aimed to achieve this through helping delegates develop a deeper understanding of the assessment process, and working in partnership in order to share information more effectively. Management Information Systems (April - November 2009) - E
The Management Information Systems Sub-Group (of the National Delivery Group) have delivered a series of workshops, in association with Eddy Adams Associates. Funded by The Scottish Government, these workshops have attracted both the core group of partnerships which have already got or are developing Management Information systems; and a good spread of other areas which are planning to do that, or thinking about it, and are keen to learn from the others.You can find summaries of each of the workshops

Introduction to Understanding Targets and Using Data (August 2009) - TP
Run in conjunction with the Scotstat Network and the Office of the Chief Statistician this introductory workshop to 'understanding targets and using data' aimed to increase awareness of some of the data issues to consider when setting a target and monitoring performance; increase understanding of the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation and how it can be used; increase knowledge of the functionality and range of data contained in Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics; and bring together CPPs from across Scotland to share their real life experiences and provide a forum to air problems and discuss strategies. Tackling Inequalities in Fife (June 2009) - TP
The conference focused on the three national frameworks addressing inequalities: Achieving Our Potential, Early Years and Equally Well and how they work together in practice. All are about major social problems that are interlinked and work across generations, holding back progress; children's start in life and cycles of poverty, inequality and poor health. Fife Partnership, together with the Scottish Government recognise that social policy developments in each framework need to fit together to prevent and break cycles of poverty.
