Poverty Profiling (March 2010) - TP
Regeneration practitioners may be familiar with the need to identify, assemble and present relevant information about poverty in their area. However, there is no common approach to profiling local poverty and the concept of a 'poverty profile' is not considered commonplace. The Learning Network, in conjunction with the Scottish Poverty Information Unit and the Poverty Alliance, held a workshop to explore practical techniques to profiling poverty and how to use profiles to best effect locally. You can view the presentations and handouts from the event here.
