Reconnecting Disconnected Young Adults: Early Experience of Project Rise

8 November 2013

The report reviews Project Rise, a programme operating in the United States as part of the federal Social Innovation Fund which seeks to reconnect "disconnected" young people - those out of work and lacking a high school degree - with education, work, and social support.

It provides an overview of the project and its evaluation, descriptions of its participants, and lessons drawn from its early operating experiences. It then outlines how the project will continue to move forward and how it can inform policy and practice for disconnected young people in many arenas.

The report can be accessed here.
