Venture Trust Annual Review 2018

16 October 2018

The Venture Trust have recently published their 2018 Annual Review and you will see that they have incorporated a fresh new style that will be seen throughout Venture Trust in the future.

Their programme for ex-servicemen and women struggling with civilian life, Positive Futures, has reached its third year, and as such has supported 90 individuals to transform their futures. They have gained LIBOR (UK government) funding which will enable them to continue the programme for a further three years, and support many more individuals in need.

The Venture Trust launched their CashBack Change Cycle employability programme for young people experiencing disadvantage, supporting individuals to find their true potential and move towards employment, training, volunteering or education. They were also pleased to announce Lee Craigie, former World Mountain Bike Champion, as their ambassador. Lee is particularly committed to inspiring young women to reach their goals.

In 2018, the Venture Trust were awarded Scottish Government funding for their Next Steps women's programme, which has enabled them to continue providing support for vulnerable women at risk of offending, or those caught in the criminal justice system.
