Local approaches to employability
- Improve the chances of claimants securing work by
facilitating the connection with employers.
- Promoting Universal Jobmatch to employers
- Promoting Get Britain Working initiatives
- External Relations, Partnership and Employer Engagement
Managers build relationships with organisations which add value to
the business and are targeted towards helping claimants back
- Partnership approach also involves building awareness and
skills with our partners so that all of the welfare reform messages
are received consistently and timely.
There is a range of provision (both contracted and non contracted)
tailored to meet claimant needs to help them with the support they
need to get back to work. Provision is put into place where gaps
and needs are identified e.g ESOL, IT basic skills.
