Scotland's Devolved Employment Services: statistical summary published February 2023

The Latest statistics were published on 22 February 2023 and demonstrate the continued impact of devolved employability provision in Scotland in supporting people of all ages who want help and support on their journey towards and into work.

• There were 54,030 starts on Fair Start Scotland (FSS) from its launch in April 2018 up to December 2022. The number of starts includes 3,899 people who have re-joined to the service, which has been possible since April 2021.
• There has been a total of 18,819 job starts.
• 73% of job starts went on to sustain employment for 3 months, 81% of job starts who sustained employment for 3 months went on to reach 6 months, and 77% of those who sustained employment for 6 months went on to reach at least 12 months
• Experimental statistics for No One Left Behind show a total of 29,279 people have started receiving support in the three year period from April 2019 to September 2022.
