Fair Start Scotland Annual and Evaluation Report

14 October 2021

On Thursday 14 October 2021, the third Fair Start Scotland Annual Report was published. The report shows how our national devolved employment support service has progressed throughout 2021-21, highlighting how quickly continuity support was arranged for participants, new referral routes were created and virtual engagement opportunities were made to deliver support successfully to participants.

The Annual Report findings demonstrate how Fair Start Scotland continues to make a difference to participants, employers and communities, despite the challenges of lockdown in Year 3. You can read more here: Fair Start Scotland Annual Report - Year 3 (www.gov.scot)

Fair Start Scotland have also published the fourth Fair Start Scotland Evaluation Report. This report details the research that supports the third year of service delivery up to 31 March 2021. The report includes a survey of over 1,000 FSS participants; local area case studies; an economic evaluation; a survey of early leavers; interviews with participants and analysis of management information on participants’ outcomes.
