Latest Scotland's Devolved Employment Services: statistical summary published

The most recent statistics published on 25 May 2022 show that:

  • There were 45,030 starts on Fair Start Scotland (FSS) from its launch in April 2018 up to March 2022. The number of starts includes 2,447 people who have previously received support on FSS - re-joining has been possible since April 2021.
  • A total of 15,355 people joining have started a job.
  • 72% of people starting jobs went on to sustain employment for 3 months, 80% of the people who sustained employment for 3 months went on to reach 6 months, and 76% of those who sustained employment for 6 months went on to reach at least 12 months.
  • Experimental statistics for No One Left Behind show that a total of 16,859 people started receiving support in the two and a half year period from April 2019 to December 2021.
