Workplace Equality Fund Impact Report April 2021 (11MB, pdf)

The Workplace Equality Fund was designed to address long standing barriers in the labour market so that everyone irrespective of age, gender, race or disability has the opportunity to fulfil their potential and improve Scotland's economic performance as a result. An evaluation report of the Workplace Equality Fund has now been completed. The report covers an evaluation of the delivery of the fund which has been delivered each year since 2018. The evaluation reviewed the impact of the spend and assessed to what extent the fund met the objectives it had set out.

A framework and guidance to support the third sector, and partners in the public and private sector on how to create effective volunteering placements which focus on employability and skills.

No One Left Behind Delivery Plan Framework December 2021 (814KB, pdf)

As part of the critical path this National Delivery Plan Framework will enable national coherence and support LEPs to design and deliver employability support that allows local flexibility, collective leadership and shared commitment to effectively implement the policy intent of No One Left Behind. Tackling labour market inequalities and supporting those at risk of being left behind to move closer to and into fair, sustainable jobs is the core purpose of the local delivery plans. The LEP will build on the strengths of existing national and local services, to better align funding and to improve the integration of employability services with other support to ensure that services are designed and delivered to meet the needs and aspirations of service users. The delivery plan will be co-produced and will help to inform the local commissioning approach and any additional requirements from a nationally available framework.

No One Left Behind Employability Service Standards - Revised July 2025 (565KB, pdf)

The Employability Service Standards were developed collaboratively across Public, Third and Private sectors to support consistent, high-quality delivery of employability services in Scotland. They promote coherence while allowing Local Employability Partnerships (LEPs) flexibility to tailor services to local needs. In July 2025, Specialist Employability Support (SES) was introduced under the No One Left Behind approach to enhance employment support for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions. This initiative ensures that every LEP offers strengthened support to help more disabled individuals’ access and sustain meaningful employment. A dedicated SES Standard was created by a cross-sector working group to guide LEPs in implementing SES. It complements existing standards and is designed to be integrated, not standalone.
